Neat, lovely hotel with perfect location to a lovely pub that we discovered by accident. Double room with great shower. Excellent, amazing friendly staff towards all guests. Coffee and toast for breakfast for the toaster. Very good stay, as always.

A Comfortable Getaway with a Cozy Atmosphere

I enjoyed a peaceful night here this past September. The room was very tidy, with all essentials like the tea-making facilities. There are great local dining suggestions, especially if you seek a hearty breakfast during your stay. Don't miss the nearby steam railway for a scenic experience!

    lack of atmosphere

I spent a night at The Washford Inn and enjoyed my stay. The room was spacious with a cozy seating area that felt cute after a long day. Breakfast was really good. A hearty English breakfast fueled me for the day's adventures. The staff were friendly and eager to help. On the downside, the bar area felt limited in the evening, lacking some atmosphere. It was a bit quiet, which might not suit everyone. Would definitely recommend this place for families.

Comfortable Stay with a Tasty Carvery Experience

After a restful night in a well-kept room, I enjoyed a warm ambiance paired with a delicious roast lunch at the restaurant. The staff welcomed me like an old friend, and the freshly cooked carvery was a highlight. Future guests should definitely try the Sunday roast!

It was just an appropriate option for one night in Washford with best value. The location is fantastic right next to the old steam train station. Make sure to book Sunday lunch in advance.
